A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME

FASHION. ART. TRAVEL.
Apart from my love of fashion, one of my other passions is travelling. I have had the opportunity to visit countries in various parts of the world.
I love experiencing new cultures and seeing how people live their lives. I find it really inspiring to see the local fashion styles and how I can adapt elements of these into my wardrobe.
I enjoy spending time being creative through arts and crafts. Recently I have begun sewing and knitting, making my own clothes. Whilst this is only a hobby it has taught me a lot about clothing construction.
TRAVEL

GHANA
My family runs a charity in Ghana called Project Cornerstone. This provides young women from rural villages an education and skills to make clothes which they use to provide an income when they graduate from the vocational training school. I have had the opportunity to travel to Ghana and visit the vocational training centres on two occasions.

CANADA
In the summer of 2019, I spent 3 months living in Ontario, working as a camp counsellor at Camp Kintail. This involved looking after a group of 6-8 children each week, leading them through activities such as high ropes, water sports and arts and crafts. The summer ended with a roadtrip across East Canada.

NETHERLANDS
During my placement year at O'Neill Europe, I lived in Leiden. This is a beautiful city half an hour south of Amsterdam.
I really admire the Dutch way of life, the positive attitude and the outdoor living that is a key part of people's daily routines and this is something I aim to carry forward with me.
